I'm glad I know Emily is town because I always find her suspicious. xD

Just a quick notice to you all: I'm having a awfully busy day tomorrow (Friday, 19th Jan) and probably won't be active during the day (GMT+0) but I promise that I'll catch up as soon as I can. Thanks and goodnight to all.

Oh wow. I'm here, but I don't know who to ask to dance. I'll look through the list later when I'm done eating.
Don't reject me just because I forget if you are a lady or not.

I'd like to... Ask Kitty to danceAfter the game on the Sims Forums, she should have have a trust partner. That's of course assuming that she herself is town.

I'm not sure how to tag someone. I don't think I've done it before in this forum.
@em
I've been thinking about this setup and reading the other games like this. There's something that you might want to consider. Since you have both the benefit and misfortune of being conf town, you should think about pairing yourself with the gentleman whom you consider to be the most scummy for two reasons:
1) You would be more likely to survive Intermission; and 2) You would be able to help town by trying to obtaining a better scum read in your private chat.
Like other ladies, you will want to avoid agreeing to a partner too soon as you will need as much time as possible to assess the dance floor.
Obviously, there are also major disadvantages to this, the main biggie being that you would end up sacrificing yourself later in the game if you did end up thinking your partner was scum, which could be very detrimental to town if you prove to be wrong (like what happened to you last time when Hermi committed suicide and you were both town). That's a lot of pressure to put on you and you would have to be extremely positive that someone was scum before committing, so I'm sure everyone will understand if you decide not to go that route. I just thought it was something worth throwing out there.
Another thing is that you probably should not tell anyone if you decide to go with this plan until after Intermission.
What do the rest of you think about it? I'm still in the process of reading the other games, but I am really intrigued about the differences in this setup. Unfortunately, I think the first couple of days are going to be even more boring than usual because no one knows quite what to do or say.

Unfortunately, I think the first couple of days are going to be even more boring than usual because no one knows quite what to do or say. i see a lot of value in your suggestion. I can see scum wanting to partner up with Emily. I had decided to keep an eye on anyone asking her to dance for that reason. But if Emily is the last to choose, and has 2 guys wanting to dance with her, she has the power to make one of the guys die...and if he's scum, then he's out of the game. In that situation, it would be best to keep the towniest one. Tricky stuff can come into play here. 1/2 of the couples are scum couples? Is that right? Because 2 scum gentlemen and 1 scum lady -- they won't partner together....6 couples -- 3 are scum. No one should believe their partner is town (Unless Emily's date is town) ... and it would probably be best for town if couples didn't vote together because you can't trust your partner is town -- and if they seem like they are overly trying to persuade you to vote for someone, they might have diabolical reasons for it. Yeah -- I don't know. I just wanted a date and I was afraid I'd be dateless. I decided on Rosehorse when I signed up,and I don't regret it. If she's town I don't want people voting her off if she doesn't post much.

If you think your partner is scum -- really, really scum -- you should kill yourself. Town can't win if your partner is scum.

Also, at any point during the dance, a player may voluntarily leave (he/she dies and his/her alignment flips), which forces his/her partner to leave as well. Please don't forget to BOLD if you're going to leave the dance. Don't follow your partners blindly. Sometimes we are afraid to die and think town needs us. No, town doesn't need you if your partner is scum. That's all I'm saying. For now. I'll probably talk more later.
