UNVOTEBecause we might as well give Rala a chance to prove she is town now that she has a power. I am determined not be swayed off vibes when I have them, though. I have regretted that more often than not in the past. And I am very, very excited about it! Unfortunately, I am going to need to leave soon for the evening (there is a chance I'll pop back on later), and my other half is indisposed at this time, but hopefully she will be on later as well. |

Also, it's so Gee willikers ironic that one of the reasons I wanted Skelda to use these forums is to boost my post count and then I forgot about that when offering to hydrate. (Hydrate - lol). Kam is going to end up with a higher post count than Sam soon!

An an aside, I was just thinking about how we tend to operate under the proverbial "Napoleonic Code" when voting in mafia games - guilty until proven innocent. I find that so interesting. I guess it works better for our purposes. (I say "proverbial" because whether that is in fact the history of the Napoleonic Code as it factors into French law is in dispute.) I guess we do. And it often would be hard to use innocent until proven guilty as a guideline. Especially with bloodlust in effect. We rarely have the means to prove someone is guilty, or we would at least need to use a much lower bar than without a resonable doubt. Although maybe it could work. It's a very different mindset definitely. We are prioritizing finding the guilty parties above protecting the innocent for sure, but that's pretty much the nature of the game. Yeah. |
