Thanks for hosting, Skelda! I think sometimes we should have mafia breaks. I sometimes just walk away when I'm upset because it just gets worse in the posts I make. Especially when I know I'm inno and no one else does. It's easy to give up. Same when you're mafia and everyone suspects you, then you just want to give up. It's a tough game. That's why I take breaks. It's hard on me emotionally.

Time to break a pseudo-rule someone made up in afterlife: Mafia did not deserve this win.
The self-vote of Rala's was unnecessary although I suppose justifiable by that point, and the least obnoxious thing on this list.
Skipping CM's action without even randomising was crappy moderation. Skelda was rooting for mafia, and it was blatantly unfair.
Emiy's final self-vote was pointless: quite frankly if you're not going to bother in the end then don't sign up. And saying that I'm not singling out Emily because it applies to multiple people in this thread.
Harry called the remaining alive scumteam (Lo and Caro). He is a genius and I shall side with him next game for not being a shitty player.

Yeah, I asked Skelda about the randomization of CM's choice in our hydra chat, but he didn't respond. I thought earlier in the game he was doing that -- but just decided it was getting too late.
I thought my leave of absence was justifiable, too.
Harry can be very clever, he just needs to learn how to harness his inner troll (for lack of better word).
Actually the hydras were pretty spot-on, too. If they had actually worked together instead of being paranoid, Lo would have been caught out much sooner.
Skelda, thank you for hosting. I like hydras. It might be fun to one day do a small game when everyone is a hydra.
I love playing with each and every one of you! It does get stressful, but the different personalities make sure that the games are not boring.

Okay, about CM's action: I said multiple times that I was going to skip actions and CM had seen my request for lists and hadn't sent one in. I was willing to wait, but Awe and Em (two Townies) asked that I skip it so that they could go to bed. If I had randomized it, the entire game would have been determined by a randomizer, and that is no fun at all. I thought randomizing your action was unfair, but I hadn't given any warning and so I allowed it. But if I warn multiple times and make it clear that actions will be skipped if people don't send them in, I expect people to listen and take it seriously. I have no skipped an action before, and I never intend to again. But in this case, I thought I made it very clear that that was what was going to happen, and I repeatedly asked people to send lists in in here and in Skype. Many hosts have skipped actions before, including you Hermy. When a player isn't around and the game has to end soon, it is frustrating. But I refuse to let a game come down to a randomizer like that. I hope that players will be active in games that they sign up for and take my threats to skip actions more seriously in th. future. |
