goon cop innocent child goon janitor 1-shot governor 1-shot vet werewolf jester goon vt godfather vt vt 1-shot bulletproof vt vt vt roleblocker transporter vt goon vt doctor framer Okay, so there are 24 options. There are only 8 of us. Which means that of these 24 roles, 16 were offered and 8 were not offered. That actually will make fake-claiming pretty difficult for scum, especially if we make them claim discard too. Those numbers are not appealing. goon goon goon godfather goon framer werewolf
There are 7 scum roles out of 24 roles possible. That's a kind of high scum-town ratio, but we can assume that someone might have been offered two scum roles and some people might have rejected scum roles like Renee, so that makes it a bit better. And is the Werewolf basically a SK? That seems so weird and underpowered if so. I dunno who would choose to be scum knowing they'd be alone and vulnerable. You left off "Janitor". I think a member of the mafia would be cognizant of all the mafia roles that were available. I know I would have been. I don't think Skelda is mafia. This would mean the only power role left for the mafia is "framer." Does that just help when a cop investigates someone? So the cop thinks the person is "guilty" based on if the framer happened to frame that person at the same time?

Hi Lizzy -- I just saw your post that says Framer is the last power role for mafia. Someone might have taken that, but the goons??? I think only someone who desperately wanted to be mafia would have taken one of those. In this set up, I think a bunch of people would have taken Vanilla Townie over goon here.
The only thing I would have taken over a town role is "Werewolf." And, I, obviously was not offered that role (and I was not happy about it, lol).
I am not sold that Hermione actually threw it away, either. Werewolves are not guilty or innocent (They are misunderstood). Some people consider animals non-sentient, which leaves her "innocent as a bloodied axe" talk meaningless. Still...not ready to change my vote.

Unless she got a good town role or didn't feel like being scum.

And for the record...I don't think Lissa is scum. Of course, I trusted her last time she was red goo, but that is beside the point. I don't think she's naughty this game. There aren't that many prime mafia roles left are there? Most of them were goonies, right? I smell a rat

Bearing in mind my dislike of being scum, and werewolf being an SK here, one of my most hated roles, the base chance of me having picked scum is low.

Early D1 talk aside, this kind of setup spec is seriously town of Lala.

Morning! I am NOT happy. I just lost my long post with quotes and things. Basically, I agree about only claiming when whacked and claiming mafia discards so we know what we don't have to deal with. I discarded mafia goon. It is pointless to mention it because there are more of those but there it is. Alleen, Renée and Lala seem slightly town. I want more to be sure. The Lissa / Hermy thing is strange. I can see why Lissa suspects Hermy, but Lissa makes posts with evidence and quotes when she is bad to convince people to whack someone. Evidence isn't bad, but I dislike Lissa using it. I'm probably just paranoid. I feel like I've seen her do that a few times as scum. Maybe she does it as town too but I just don't notice it. I dunno? Hermy, interesting bloodied axe comparison I actually do think I use evidence more as scum. I should remember that. That doesn't mean I'm scum every time I use evidence.

Oh, brill, Lissa. Lissa, you mentioned changing your scum meta. Does that mean whenever you don't post more IIoA than anything you're scum? Or will you do that regardless of situation? Because both the former and the latter aren't a good thing.
