I'm not scum this time. And I just posted how I saw things. I don't have any ston reads yet, so everything is still pretty open as far as I am concerned.

And saying Skype should have no bearing is basically restricting information. You might want it to have no bearing, but the fact is that talking with each other in Skype does affect the way the game plays out. It is super naive to deny that. Its just super annoying when people talk about mafia and then it directly affects the game when some people don't see it. I didn't see you talking about, so how I would know? Im not saying youre the only one who does, Ive done it. And you're right, anything you say mafia related affects the game. Even just asking if youre alive, which I've done. So I'm just saying we should try and be a little more conscious of it and keep mafia games where everyone can see them. Im not thinking you're scum for this, I just don't want skype to be used as evidence ever. |

Even just your presence in Skype while a Mafia game is going on affects it.
I guess we should make an effort to talk about it less though. I dunno, I like talking about Mafia and we didn't even have roles when this was going on so I think you are overreacting. There is nothing wrong with talking about Mafia games in Skype when there is no game currently going on.

I'm not overreacting! xD I think you're overreacting to my calm discussion of my opinion xD And while talking in skype lets people know you are around, if you aren't discussing the game its not near as bad as saying something that directly affects the game or is used as evidence in here. Now it really wasn't a big deal and I was just trying to explain myself and since you kept arguing I did too. That may be why you assume I am overreacting when Im really not. |

Katie, what do you think about saying, "I want to be town next game." and then posting in the thread, "I got Town, woot!". I feel like you are getting too much into theory and getting away from what actually happened. Once I explained the situation, people could have been like, okay, didn't realize that because I didn't open Skype but I'll take it into consideration. Instead, people attacked me at the mere mention of Skype. If I have something to defend myself at my disposal, even something weak like that, I sure as heck am going to use it.
When I saw my role PM, I messaged Lissa saying how glad I was that I was Town and then came here and did the same thing. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
