if we don’t get any more players, maybe we could try this setup? it seems fun & interesting I actually saw that setup while looking through. It seems interesting, but at the same time... I'm pretty lazy. If I host a smaller game some time, I can run the setup where everybody has a PM with everybody else.
What does everything think about THIS setup?

Have fun everyone! Welcome to the new players Unfortunately I can't play because I'm preparing for another CTA test on the 30th of June and the volume of work is insane. Maybe sometime in the distant future when CTA isn't controlling my life. It's good to see people posting, this forum was dead for a while

Just read the setup and thought it would make quite an exciting game! But I do have a couple of questions that I need to ask beforehand so that I could get a better picture of how this all will work out once the game has begun. Question: Regarding the detective (& psychologist) role Investigate: Each night phase, you may target one player in the game to investigate them. You will receive a result of "Has Killed", "Has Not Killed", or "No Result". If your target is killing during the investigation, you will receive the result "Has Killed".Let's say during night the detective player is investigating Billy, who is actually a mafia goon but it wasn't him who submitted a factional kill on mafia's behalf (his scumbuddy Mary did), what will be the result returning to the investigator from their reaching out to Billy? Will it be "Has Killed" or "Has not Killed?" Assuming that the detective wasn't role-blocked that night. Also, since the Hider role is only immune to night kills, if they successfully hide behind someone that isn't a mafia or doesn't get killed, does that mean that both detective and psychologists are still able to get relevant results from probing them? Or will they get "No Result" instead (since they cannot kill)?

Btw, I just noticed that this setup only allows mafia players to talk during night phase, will we end up getting longer nights to accommodate that? xD

If you investigate someone who hasn't killed as the detective (even if that person is Mafia and has the ability to), you will get the result that they haven't killed. My bigger question is if you investigate the Tracker as the Psychologist, will you get that they have the ability to kill because they chose to be Tracker but they could have been Vig? I'd assume not, but based on the Tracker/vig role PM, it could be ambiguous.

Trackers will appear as cannot kill, daytalk for mafia is allowed because it's more fun.
If a mafia goon has never personally submitted the kill it comes up has not killed.

Makes sense now. But I assumed that only once the player has selected a Tracker or Vigilante role will Mod send out the results to the psychologist. However, I hope a tracker wouldn't return results as "Has not killed" or that'll just render any investigative capabilities in this game useless lol.
