Me too. In fact I just woke up from sleeping all day. I was just woken up by some... Shocking news. (Not really, it's very mundane, shocking for nobody but me.) Icey! Zinnia! Mind ratting out who your scum buddy is? Maybe it's Rosey and you have some sort of muffin accord going, hmm? No, I'll gladly share muffins with anyone who wants one.

I'm half tempted to suggest no whack simply because (as I understand) we all get a shot if we want it, and since it doesn't look like all 8 of us are going to reach a decision on whack today (which means mafia could control the whack), maybe we could find more out tonight after debating with our neighbors. Also, if a neighborhood pair shoots well and isn't blocked, they could take down a mafia. If they were working together (as they should), then that should pretty much confirm them for each other. I think the key is reading your buddy here. I'm against no whacking on D1 out of principle, unless there's a strategic advantage. The way I see it is, we have some situations: 1. whack a townie in a townie-townie pair: Bad 2. whack a townie in a townie-Mafia pair: we at least remove one Mafioso's ability to kill at night 3. whack Mafia: Best outcome I think we should whack today. And Alleen...I haven't played in a while here, but I do remember her relishing the idea of being Mafia in my toy store game, so I'd put her in the 50/50 bucket for now.

That's fine.
I'll bet we hit town/town though. That's our luck.

Especially because we won't have everyone voting, and that means town doesn't control the whack. Which is not good.

OK, so I read the rules again.
All 4 neighborhoods get to decide on a kill. So it's possible there are 4 murders tomorrow. Both mafia people get to decide on a roleblock? So they get to each roleblock someone (a 50/50 chance of each getting the town vig. Plus they might get to manipulate their partner into hitting someone they aren't blocking.
So Suzy and Joe are mafia. Suzy tells her partner, Jill, to murder Fred. Joe tells his partner, Amy, to murder Nick. So Nick and Fred will be dead upon wake up.
Suzy and Joe both are able to roleblock someone. So they could roleblock two townies who are not in either of their neighborhoods thus rendering town's vig chances to fail. So town doesn't kill anyone, but mafia gets two kills.
The next day it's Suzy and Jill and Joe and Amy. Alone without partners are Mike (neighbor of dead Fred) and Ike (neighbor of dead Nick).
Mike and Ike cannot do anything at night now...their partners are dead. Suzy and Joe are going to make sure they get a vote for whack (just like they did yesterday).
Hmmmm. It also benefits mafia if we tell our partners because in this situation, if they held off roleblocking for night two, they would know not to waste their roleblock on a single neighbor.
So don't tell partners.
I don't know. If we don't whack mafia, I don't think we have a good chance. But don't tell partners.

Hmm...that's a good point. This setup is pretty chaotic. If we no whack, we could have a maximum of 4 deaths tonight. The worst case is that all the deaths are townies, and the game ends immediately. Best case is that both the Mafia die and it's an instant town win.
I feel like a lot hinges on what happens during N1 HAHAHAHAHA

I think I'll end day my tomorrow morning, so in about another 12 hours. That means people from every timezone should still have a chance to interact a bit, I believe. 7 hours. I will be asleep when this ends, so I'll put a vote in before I leave tonight -- even if it's no whack.
