I think that the most suspicious discards are the useless Town roles depending on who threw them away. Some people do take VTs and Vanilla Cops over being scum, though. Really? I thought the stronger Town discards were more suspicious, because they are less likely to have gotten a better Town role versus a scum role to take over them. Though I am not sure how much that applies here, because none of the Town discards are very good. Conspiracy Theorist is definitely the strongest, compared to the others, though. Yeah, I didn't realize Conspiracy Theorist existed when I posted that. I agree with you. |

Rala - Ninja Werewolf
A ninja werewolf would be rather powerful. While a tracker isn't likely, the possibility of being near-confirmed innocent would be a nice perk of this role. Chances are that a better scum role was kept, but whatever, BoD granted.
Doge - Werewolf gravedigger
A discarded scum role, albeit a fun one, at least in my opinion. This discard is almost as approvable as your potential ninja buddy above.
Beta - Alien Vanillariser
Mine. I hate being scum, always will. I'm VT.
Nubbins - Watchlisted townie
Essentially vanilla, although ironically an FBI agent was thrown out. But you could be anything, since this is technically worse than VT.
Freeland - Miller
A negative utility role thrown out doesn't mean much, and a lot of Nubbins' discard case could be used here too.
Flippy - Werewolf FBI agent
A most-likely vanilla scum role, with the ironic addition of a potential guilty investigatee. This is a scum discard though, so townpoints for you.
Kam - VT
You could be anything, as most people would discard vanilla for any other role (aside from perhaps negative utility roles).
Mousey - Vanilla cop
A potentially interesting and swingily useful discard. You get minor scumpoints for that, but I can see how there are many better town roles on the market.
Comb - Conspiracy theorist
So... an investigative role that can wipe out an entire faction. I acknowledge that this is almost as unlikely to get a guilty as an FBI Agent (though aliens are more likely to be rolled), but aliens are unpopular as of recently and they'd quite possibly wind up being a one-person faction. Still, the scummiest (stretching the definition of scummy) discard here.

And also, most of you guys like being Town, so that is a factor too. I think most of you would choose Conspiracy Theorist over being scum. Not sure about the person who actually got it whose name escapes me, though.

Thoughts on faction distribution:
I see one alien and no mafia discards.
The lack of mafia discards makes me think we may have some good mafia roles in play. Normally you get at least one, and zero of those rolled are vary unlikely.
The lack of aliens is less worrying but still quite a bit so.
No SK/whacker is pretty normal, and I'll wait for some sign of one before wasting my time speculating.

No, I think my vote makes sense. That applies to the weaker Town discards too, Flippy, doesn't it? And there are less Town roles most people would take over Conspiracy Theorist, than Town roles most people would take over the other Town discards.
