With six players no whacking is good. In this setup a death gives us information, and with no saving roles there’s no reason to hold off on no whacking.

I have a nice neighbor.  I get that whacking gives us information, but if we whack a townie and a townie dies overnight isn't that a SK win? Or do the SKs have to whackinate the other to win? |

With six players no whacking is good. In this setup a death gives us information, and with no saving roles there’s no reason to hold off on no whacking. What information does it give us? It tells us that if we hit an SK, then the neighbor is confirmed town.. This is good. It tells us that if we hit a townie, then there is a 2/3 chance the dead player's partner is sk. Which is pretty OK. So I see your point. We can whack. |

The SKs have to kill the other one ... Or maybe if there are only two Sks left at the end of the game, it's a tie? But SK can only win with 1 town left...so two players will remain at end game. I'm not good at being scum. That's why I opted to be town this time around. I just don't want us to fall for the scum hammering a townie in a clean neighbourhood for us to whack the other; trap.
I would, as scum, figure out the pairs and then figure out which neighbourhood has the least whackresistance from the crowd. That's my clean neighbourhood. Before the whack I'd make sure that I'd be in good graces with one of the members of the third neighbourhood. Then I'd hit the other neighbourhood for a 50/50 of killing the other SK, leaving my own hood untouched because people are more likely to trust the people closest too them.
Therefore, if our scum uses my very basic tactic, we should assume that the untouched neighbourhood contains scum. Therefore I think I agree with Rose on the no whack.
