I've been hesitant to vote because anyone who gets a vote is pretty much cleared of being the king. Why would assassin shoot me then? It leaves 3 other players to pick from...going from 25 percent chance to 33 percent chance of getting it right. You were the one we should randomly vote. I like this plan. Me, too. Actually. Good plan. Follows the rules. That's why I said it was OK. It's just tomorrow assassin will have a bigger chance to getting it right.

I have something here...something in my pocket. It's a poem I wrote. I want to share it with you, Legend.

Is it rain I hear Pittering down the windowsill?
An icy blade that cuts the glass with a cold that my bones can feel.
A woolen blanket I wrap 'round my shoulders a shield against the winter's chill.
Be gone..
Oh -- hold on, these words smeared. Let me get my glasses so I can read it...

After hours upon hours of sitting around doing nothing, a guard dramatically pointed to the twitchy, suspicious looking guard and yelled "Him! He's the assassin!" That was enough for the other guards to wake from their apparent slumber, and without questioning anything they took the accused and dragged him to the entrance of the nearly endless hedgemaze as he kicked and screamed and recited poetry. When the helmet fell off it became clear that guard was correct, this was the assassin.
Lala has been whacked, she was the assassin. She has one final chance at an assassination attempt

Be gone the hand of winter your frozen tentacles of gloom
Pass through this night into the morn when sprigtime grants its fertile bloom
Alas my days they are but numbered as I dangle from this coffered room.
I have but one thing yet to say, my dear and that is this one word ...
wait ... what is that word...
it escapes me.

But as they throw the Assassin, Baron into the hedgemaze to wander for all eternity. He grabs ahold of the nearest guards cloak and drags him in as well, the guard that accused him. The guarrds helmet fell off in a convenient fashion and Baron realized this was the cat king Now they are forced the wander around the maze for forever. Or until one of the guards finds out how to open the door. Baron, Lala, and the Cat King, Legend, have both been killed. Making this a win for the assassin, I guess.

Well. I still have no idea how this works. I'm glad I guessed it right in 1 go.

Zinnia, thank you for hosting. This was fun for me.
I really did believe I was town at first ... until I read the setup, lol.
I thought I was a vigilante. Oh well.
Yay. Thanks. Lots of fun.

Well. I still have no idea how this works. I'm glad I guessed it right in 1 go. Things that gave you away as the king -- although it might have been my imagination: 1. When you said you were Tom, Rosey stated she was Jerry (or something like that) -- but hinting that she's got your back. 2. When you actually cast the only vote. I think guards might be afraid to vote (like I would be) because it kind of gives away someone who is not the king and thus helps the assassin. Since you voted, I figured you had the highest probability of being king. Well played, though, Legend. Looking forward to your game.

I think it wouldn't have ended that way if the king wasn't the only one voting. Almost a full 24 hours without a single vote

Oooh -- and your statement about the king deciding, lol. That was suspicious to me, too.
