You see, I have a few potions and poisons of which I haven't the slightest what they do and I need your help...

Pick your poison's gameplay section:

Introduction:

Pick your Poison is homebrew game which I hope will be a lot of fun to play. 
It does a few things differently to reach a certain few effects:
- It offers Side-effects (Post/Gameplay restriction) to make the game more difficult.
- It offers the players the option to take risks (More Side-effects which make it obvious for the opposing players you have a powerful role)) for greater rewards (A more powerful role).

How is it played?

Step 1: You shall receive a private message in which your alignment is decided by the colour of your potion options (Decided by a randomizer). 
Red potion: Mutants/Mafia     Green potion: Subjects/Town    Grey potion: Experiments/Third

Step 2: You either pick the basic potion, the greater potion or the greatest potion, all three of which are offered.
These potions have the following effects: 
-The basic potion which will tell you the "Basic" version of your role.
-The greater potion gives you a slight buff to your power but comes with a side-effect, both of which are hidden to you.
-The greatest potion gives you a large buff to your power but comes with three side-effects, all four of which are hidden to you.  

Note: The roles are sifted from GREATEST Mafia and divided into the 9 categories.

An open example of this step:
Green basic potion: Vanilla town
Green greater potion: (Hidden Role and Side-effect)   (This is hidden but: You are a Town Fruit Vendor but your every post must contain the word: Scumwozzle)
Green greatest potion:  (Hidden Role and Side-effects) (This is hidden but: You are a Town Investigator Bodyguard but your every post must have 1 foreign word in it AND you cannot vote before anyone else has voted, and you must add a piece of flawed logic to every post.)

Step 3: Day 1 commences as usual, with the side-effects in effect.

Step 4: On Night one, the powers of each player are not yet active, including the killing power of the Mutants and Experiments, the players are, however, offered another greater potion of their own colour. This greater potion once again has a hidden role and Side-effect. This potion can be taken to REPLACE your current role, HOWEVER, the side-effects STACK. This means that all side-effects stay during the entire game.

Step 5: Gameplay commences as usual.
