Under no circumstances should anyone claim, especially if you have a rank. Scum can win by killing everyone with ranks if they don't have them themselves. They have two potential win conditions. We all should keep that very much in mind

However if you have a rank and are being whacked obviously do claim rather than be whacked, but only if you are sure there's no alternative. At the same time scum can have ranks too so claims shouldn't mean much, it's complicated. But keeping people with ranks alive ought be our priority for sure
