#makeSkyrimgreatagain
Rid Dragonbridge of the pesky Stormcloaks who are only out to wreak havoc in your town!!
> Will likely start Thursday 6pm? BST. Is that alright for people? > Rough guideline for timing is Day = 24, Night = 6 or 12. I'll let you know how long when it's relevant so that I'm doing timing stuff in a way that best suits you guys playing. > This will be a day start. > Hammers are in place. After a hammer vote is placed, no other votes count. Setup:
11-14 players 2 goons 1 mafia power role 3 town power roles 5-8 regular townies
9 players. 1 goon 1 mafia power role 3 town power roles 4 regular townies
How It Works:
Choose your race! - Races have different strengths and weaknesses. - If you have a power role, your race will affect its strength in correlation to your power-role type (which is determined by which organisation you are part of)
Your alignment will be randomized. - Citizens = Town - Stormcloaks = Mafia (unless you don't agree that Stormcloaks should be mafia then I can alter the story a tad and make the mafia bandits, instead)
Your role will be randomized. - Determines if you’re a goon, mafia pr, townie or town pr.)
Your organisation will be randomized. (There are 4 organisations with particular skill sets which will be the basis for what kind of power role you might have. Only power role people are linked to an organisation/guild.) - Fighters Guild - Best suited in heavier armour and are trained intensely to be very skilled, powerful soldiers and warriors. Lack in intelligent education because they're all about bashing people's heads in, pretty much. They make their money through killing feisty monsters in dungeons and shizz.
- Mages Guild - These are the magical people so obviously they're good with spell casting, using staves and alchemy. They make their money through these arts and... collecting books.
- Thieves Guild - These people can crouch in front of you and suddenly turn invisible. This seems like magic but it's all skill, trust me. They pickpocket and steal and are very very stealthy.
- Dark Brotherhood - These people are also very stealthy but they have trusty daggers to help them along in their money making and with these daggers comes more blood... More blood than you'll ever see coming from the work of the Thieves Guild, anyway. These people are good communicators for all the many contracts of assassinations needing done.
If you have a power role, the race you choose will affect the strength of your power role depending on how your racial strengths match up to the guild you are linked to.

Background Lore Dragon Bridge is your town. Haafingar is your hold. Skyrim is your province. Tamriel is your continent.
You have been a citizen of Skyrim for quite a while. For you, this holds great burden as your life as been very much affected by the recent civil war and the great return of the dragons.
(In short, the Civil War is the Stormcloaks rebelling against the Imperial Legion, wishing to chase them out of Skyrim and be independent from the Empire.
Kind of like if the Scottish Nationalists decided they didn’t want anybody from England, Wales or Northern Ireland to be living in Scotland because they wanted to be independent and fully Scottish.)
In more detail: The Civil War is between the Imperial Legion who are in support of the Empire’s rule over Tamriel and the Stormcloaks who are in support of ridding Skyrim of outsiders. This includes the majority of citizens who are of races not native to Skyrim. So that includes everyone except Nords, pretty much. Ulfric Stormcloak, the leader of the rebellion wishes for Skyrim to be free from outsider rule. While not every stormcloak supporter may be so prejudice towards outsiders, most do disagree with the banning of Talos Worship which is being implemented via the White-Gold concordat signed by the Emperor. In Tamriel, there are 9 divines that are worshiped: Akatosh, Arkay, Dibella, Julianos, Kynareth, Mara, Stendarr, Zenithar & Talos. The Stormcloaks just want their freedom, so to speak.Talos is being banned, I think, to please the Thalmor over the Empire’s loss in the great war but that’s getting really deep into the lore now. So I’ll stop here. Anyway, that’s the civil war in Skyrim.)
The Great Return of the Dragons. I haven’t read much into this or how it started, so am basing this explanation off of my playthrough knowledge. Basically, dragons used to be an issue and there were previous ‘Dragonborns’ that citizens across Skyrim can be heard singing about. ‘Beware, beware, the dragonborn comes.’ Unfortunately these previous dragonborns were unsuccessful in keeping the dragons away forever. A dragonborn can be of any race but they possess a particular ability to ‘shout’ like a dragon. They absorb the souls of dead dragons to be able to use these ‘shouts’. Shouts can range from relenting force to make enemies in front of you go flying away from you, or fire breath. That sort of thing. Anyway, the dragons have returned to Skyrim and have been a huge nuisance to all the citizens. Around the same time, the dragonborn has also returned and in this story, it’s Emilyria. (my character). And um, yeah basically Emilyria came into Skyrim as an Imperial Legion prisoner then the town she was going to get beheaded in (Helgen) got attacked by the most known and most dangerous dragon Alduin so Emilyria ran away from the town. She discovered she was the dragonborn and proceeded to get taught how to use her powers at High Hrothgar, a big old building run by old grey bearded men who study dragons at the top of a very very very high mountain in central Skyrim. On the dragon end of things, the great Dragonborn has returned in the form of a beautiful young thang called Emilyria. Some people are against the Dragonborn's return, insisting she is a curse upon the land because she attracted the dragons to Skyrim. Others would support her to death, for she heroically rode into Skyrim and saved everyone from the dragon’s wrath!
Others may disagree on how Emilyria arrived in Skyrim, though. Some say the reasons were far more political than mythical. It is rumoured she was part of the Stormcloak Rebellion, caught trying to sneak her way past the border and was almost beheaded in Helgen if it weren't for Alduin the World-Eater (not the most favourable dragon in history). However, this rumour doesn't quite fit with the fact that Emilyria is currently a big name among supporters of the Empire and the Imperial Legion within Skyrim where battles are concerned. Some say that instead, Emilyria was an imperial spy who got a little too muddled in with the rebels that she forgot all about her loyalties with the Empire, but because of Alduin's return on that fateful day at Helgen, she was able to escape from being held prisoner and ran away. This led to her finding her head in the clouds at High Hrothgar with the Greybeards and supposedly, she forgot all about her workings with the Stormcloaks. It is believed that her distraction with the dragons brought her back down to earth, restoring her honour and bringing her back to her rightful loyalties with the Imperial Legion in Skyrim. Thus, Emilyria now works closely with the Legion after she put an end to the dragon situation by having both the Imperial Legion and Stormcloaks sit in the same room to sign a temporary armistice to end Alduin together.
Anyway, you are probably thinking 'well when are you going to tell the part of the story where I come in?' To that I answer... now!
You currently reside in Dragon Bridge, a very culturally diverse town just South West of Solitude, the capital city of Skyrim. Dragon Bridge hasn't always been diverse, though. Your local bridge has attracted many citizens from all over since the defeat of Alduin. You wonder why, though, because as far as you're concerned it holds no connection to the dragon epidemic...
It is, however, the only route by road into the Haafingar Hold. Many travellers pass by your little village on their way to Solitude (the capital city of Skyrim) which is why for quite a few years, it hasn't been unheard of for some to settle down and make a life for themselves.
Rumours had started spreading that some particular shady characters are not innocent travelers but in fact escapees from Fort Snowhawk not too far away from Dragon Bridge. The Imperial Army started marching towards Fort Snowhawk to capture it from the Stormcloaks, passing Dragon Bridge on their way to battle. Capturing Fort Snowhawk from the Stormcloak rebels would secure Hjaalmarch Hold once and for all.
(Previously, Fort Snowhawk was just another bandit camp but in recent years, the bandits have been chased out by the Stormcloaks in an attempt to prevent the Imperial Legion securing Hjaalmarch Hold. Around that time, there were unsettled citizens in Dragon Bridge over rumours that necromancer bandit escapees were seeking other towns to take over and use as their bandit camp. However, those rumours were mostly settled when nothing much happened at Dragon Bridge and no sketchy business was detected. However, similar rumours have resurfaced and the citizens of Dragon Bridge don’t feel safe again.) However, the rumours have picked up again and have you citizens quite concerned. The Penitus Oculatus commanders who resided in Dragon Bridge were found dead this morning and some think the forgotten bandits from Fort Snowhawk have been hiding in disguise and murdered your protectors! With the guards distracted with the Legion's march to capture Fort Snowhawk, the citizens of Dragon Bridge are growing restless and wish to really rid their little town of the culprits in hiding! Are they bandits from Fort Snowhawk? Are they stormcloak spies? Who cares? There has been a murder, and the threat needs to be removed!
(The Penitus Oculatus is a faction of agents created to serve as the Empire's security and law enforcers. While they are not widely known in Skyrim and more commonly appear elsewhere in Tamriel, their small outpost in Dragon Bridge, Skyrim is there to simply house the Emperor's guards when off-duty from protecting the Emperor during his visit to Skyrim. Some are angered over the placement of the outpost in Dragon Bridge as it has possibly drawn unwanted attention to the town but others saw it as a blessing to protect the citizens for the oncoming battles between Stormcloaks and the Imperial Legion in surrounding locations.)

Stormcloaks aren't so bad if you ignore their leader, and so many of their members. Well, comparatively. Thalmor are worse, anyway. I don't appreciate all the racist comments, but I'm pretty sure I've had a khajiit yell "Skyrim is for the Nords!" at me in a very out of place accent. What was my point? Oh yeah, some of the stormcloaks have reasonable goals.
