I've discussed whack vs. no whack with him before, he prefers no whack in most cases. Okay. Thanks, Zinnia. That is helpful. Now that you and Skelda have both said it, I will leave it alone. I didn't figure it meant much, but it was the context of him saying that along with the way he said other things that gave me wonder.

It might not be townish, but I don't think it's scummy for him.

Skelda, I kind of feel like Jake recommending a no whack is less sketchy than the way Eyelash did it. For one thing, it would be easy for Eyelash to hop onto the idea and less bold than broaching it so flatly and in a vacuum the way Jake did. More than that, it was the WAY he said it, like Em pointed out, throwing in an unsolicited reference to his innocence. His responsive post to Em when she called him on it didn't hold much water for me, either. That was a decent litmus test, Emzer. However, when you said that both Jake and Eyelash have preferred no-whackes in the past and have that history of touting them does lead me to read less into it than I initially did. I suppose it's possible that they are bad together, but that would be pretty obvious. Other than making note of it, I'm going to leave the whole thing alone for now because I just don't know enough about either of them to gauge how scummy that might be. No whackes aren't always the worst idea, it's just that it seems odd to bring them up so very soon at the beginning of Day One before we've even had a chance to attempt some reads. Why did you choose to vote for Jake instead of Eyelash, Skelda? I know that I've had this discussion with Jake multiple times and he knows that I'm against it, whereas with Eyelash we may have discussed it like once but it hasn't been as often. So for me anyway Jake knows that we often don't like No whacking Day 1 and yet he still suggested it.

I'd quote things Eyelash has said about it here if I could, but it wasn't online or in any games, just... talking about it.

I get what you mean about Eyelash saying that he's good though and he could well be scum. I want to get a wagon going at this point.

I won't start or join any wagons until I've heard from Rosey, Alleen and Keyen. It's kind of just a personal policy - - equal opportunities for sketch points or town cred.

Surprised my sister did not also mention the fact I've started every game so far with the phrase. "I'ma goodie." Is an affectation I'm not gonna drop.

I think he has sort of lay off it a bit but skelda tends to point out his townishness all the time too. It is sketchy every time. And he self meta's about it.

Someone really, really needs to host a game where we pretend to be each other and our real identity is hidden.

Someone really, really needs to host a game where we pretend to be each other and our real identity is hidden. Yes please, that'd be hilarious.

I won't take credit for the idea. We've talked about it a few times over the last couple of years. Renee even started to plan such a game, but it never ended up happening. I think Caro is the one who has talked about doing something like that in one of the future games she hosts. I think we all agree that it would be fun, but tricky to implement since it would involve temporary, false accounts.
