I wish I could, Katie, but I received some very bad news *understatement of the century* and I'll be gone all of the weekend to spend some time with my dad. I knew I would decide today to play or not as I knew my dad would hear from the doctors today and well... it turned out that it was in no ones favour...

We're afraid it won't be fine, my dad has cancer and it has spread already. We're hoping his head is clean, we might have at least a little hope left. The fact that I've feared this would happen softens the blow a little, but it's still impossible to put in words what I feel now and I can't even imagine what's going on in his head.
