Am I just blanky ignored in these games? I posted 2 times but jeez, I POSTED TWO TIMES ICEMAN xD Anyway, I was working out the setup and I understand it everybody. Omg! I understand it yay! But I have no new findings to share since we don't know more letters than M or MMM I couldn't be bothered to comment on everyone's activity. Why does the innocent child always get killed? It's not like they have a PR. I don't get it xD they're not much of a threat to mafia, surely. It is for later on in the game when numbers dwindle and PoE can catch mafoa out if there aee confirmed townies about. Being confirmed day 1 doesnt necessarily mean you will be killed on night 1, though. Mafia migt be feeling nice and let her play for a bit since she isnt a threat right now. They could try for pr's or some framing tactics. Or maybe lo will just die tonight if mafia are feeling nasty I don't want Lo to die tonight, I like having someone to trust.  Mafia don't be a bumhole. |

According to the wiki, there could be 2-3 Mafia, and possibly a serial killer. If there are only 2 Mafia, it's sure that there's a serial killer. wait so hold on how does the mafia thing work? Will there always be 3 mafia even if no T's or rolled? Goon, RB and Godfather? The only thing confusing me about this setup is how the mafia roles are chosen. And do we definitely have a serial killer or is it conditional like the other town pr's? |

The more town PRs, the fewer Ts rolled. The fewer Ts rolled, the stronger the mafia. So, if town has many PRs, Mafia will be strong. If town has few PRs, Mafia will be weak. This ensures balance.

When I hosted the prom Mafia with the kids with guns setup, the innocent child survived to final 3 and revealed herself then, which made her the deciding factor (although town did lose).
Of course, here the IC is forcibly revealed on day 1, which isn't as helpful. But at least this early on we know to trust Lo.

And do we definitely have a serial killer or is it conditional like the other town pr's? Yep, if there are 0 T's, we have a goon, a roleblocker, and a Godfather according to the wiki. And as Rosey said, more T's = fewer town power roles, which means the Mafia are weakened as well to maintain balance. Also, I was mistaken. There is one combination where we only have two Mafia and no serial killers. |
