I am afraid that I don't know how to do the cha-cha, but I will probably accept your dance invitation soon because I do think you are town. Maybe you can teach me? Aww, it's fine if you rather want to be with someone else... No, I think you are a very good choice, Alleen. I will accept, but I think you need to do the whole formal thing with bold letters first and then I will respond in kind with bold letters. It looks like Emily has decided not to assist in the choice of dance partners and everyone is well on there way to finishing the pairings. However, one reason Keyen probably gave us so much time for this pre-dance was to give us the opportunity to analyze and discuss the people on the dance floor before we completed our hook-ups. Doing that means that we are more likely to whackinate the most scummy gentleman and better prepared for the whack-dance, as well as the mutual evaluations in our private chats. The gentlemen all seem more scummy to me than the ladies at this point, fwiw. The only gentlemen who seem town to me are Alleen, Icey and probably Lala. That means that I have concerns about Choco, Katie, Zinnia and Rosey - - especially Choco and Katie. |

I am making roast beef tacos/nachos ... the roast is in the oven. I'm even making home made salsa. This food will nourish my brain. I plan on eating about 3:30 when it's done, lol. I've only had tea today (besides my morning coffee) -- this is unusual because I am a breakfast eater.
I'll feel better after I eat. I was looking forward to those churned butterbeans, though.

Insightful. That's going to leave Emily with Choco and Rosey since Katie asked Bella (although Bella hasn't accepted) and Alleen asked Sam (but Sam hasn't accepted). It's the town thing to do to ask Emily if you don't have a dance partner.Why are you saying this? Because I'm inept at quoting things on different pages, I'm bumping this up -- then I'll find what was written and bump that, up, too. |

I was thinking about how this pre-dance is kind of the opposite of the ol' U-pick game analysis. This time, we can analyze the choices instead of the discards.

Hopefully the left out player will turn into scum, though. Pick wisely, ladies. But ... if the lady making the final decision of 2 or more gentlemen is scum -- well she will surely pick the scum partner. That's the only way I can see a scum-scum partnership. Emily should have more than 1 option to choose from. She is confirmed town. Let her make the decision. I think any male dancer available that avoids being chosen by Emily is a little bit suspicious, unless they give a valid reason why they are against it. Rosey, I know you are saying that you are town so that you want to not be obviously paired with Emily since she's confirmed. You think that you will be first to go. There isn't a night kill until there are 8 or fewer players left. The rest are whackes or suicides if I understand the set up. If you pair with Emily, and she doesn't choose you you might be whacked because you are the man without a lady -- in that case I will step aside and you can have my place with Rosehorse. |

At this point, please do not give up your spot for Choco if it comes down to that, Lala. His inactivity is frustrating and your activity helps keep the game going. It would be a complete shift for the rest of the players. One of the ways that mafia wins is by sucking the life out of the game so that townies lose interest and mafia can survive behind the scenes of the empty stage. (The other way is by feeding off chaos, but that's a whole nother ball of wax.) If Rosey is whackinated and decides to take over for you, then at least we know that she will give it a good go.

That last sentence really really makes me think you are town. As someone else said earlier (Sam, I think), I don't think you'd do that if you had buddies and were mafia. However, you know that you are town (if you are, but I think you are) and it would make more sense from your point of view to stay in the game than let someone else live who you don't know if they are town. Also, the reason why Rosey doesn't want to be Em' s partner also makes me think she's town. |

Also, the reason why Rosey doesn't want to be Em' s partner also makes me think she's town. Or, she's worried that Em will read her as mafia, inform the other players of her concerns and commit suicide (just to play devil's advocate). |
