Silent chose bodyguard.
Bodyguards die if the person they are on is targeted for kill? Why would you pick a role that would cause your death over saving others? It's OK that you did -- you might prefer that. I'm just curious.

Let's hope they whack some cultists for us. Lala: Who do you suspect most as Mafia? I didn't want to get the whole picture and stuff here, so I deleted that part -- this is a question from Rosey if that part doesn't show up. I am a little concerned about you. Just a little. I'm a little worried about Silent, too. I'm majorly worried about Sub (who stands to be possibly both mafia and cult -- obviously not at the same time) Just a smidgen on Vul and Katie...I think Katie is going to do something today which should be fun & interesting -- and Vul really doesn't like to be bad, and his role was a good town role he discarded, so he's likely good. I don't think Silent is cult. If Silent is bad it's likely mafia. |

as for the cult leader, sub is a possible choice. i think she stated that she has 1-shot role, so it could be cult, and she knows kitty, so that's possible. Why does knowing someone make them a cult leader? I barely know kitty, I just know they exist. |

As a protective role, Bodyguard is essentially a weakened Doctor. Not only can it only successfully protect once, but it also does not technically stop the kill from going through. The only benefit from a successful protection is essentially a redirection of the kill from someone who is presumably more valuable to keep alive. In games where protection is desirable but a full Doctor could lead to overpowered role combinations, Bodyguard is a decent consideration.
As always, including multiple protective roles in the game can lead to broken role combinations. Doctor+Bodyguard can lead to circular protections, as can Bodyguard+Bodyguard. If you are going to include these combinations in your game, make sure you specify how they work - presumably in a way that does not allow them to cross-protect successfully.
