When I do Upicks I dont have preferred choices. I pick the choice that would best fit the game or seems more fun to write for. This way everyone isn't sure what choice was chosen.

I didn't want to start a whole new thread for this question so I'll hijack my own thread. Here goes: If you were running a UPick mafia game with a limited selection of roles, how would you go about distributing choices? That wording is mildly confusing so I'll do an example: Say I was running Civ V mafia, and got people to send in their top three role choices. And then say two people, A and B, both had Kamehameha as their first choice. Running the game on a first-come-first-served basis, A would get Kamehameha and B would get their second choice. However, through this mechanism, B is now aware that Kamehameha is in the game. In this particular theme, alignment is basically random, but either way, if B landed mafia, they'd know who to avoid fakeclaiming as. Is this fair? If not then how would you work around it while still letting people have a preferred choice? I remember Lala 's Sim UPick. It had 2 Belisama Hemlocks. (Skelda and.. Lissa??? I dunno lol)

Oh yeah, I remember that. I was so close to picking Belisama as well; thought that was rather amusing.

I don't know the titles though
You can't go wrong with the classic "Du dun dun, du dun dun, du du dun, dun dun dun"
